Daryl Aitken, aged 29, has been living
in a small town in the Thames Gateway. After working a series of black
market jobs and scams, he lands a post at Argots Bank in Canary Wharf.
This is the result of another friend pulling some strings for him and encouraging
him to 'come up with a nice looking CV'... The plot begins to take shape with a full scale plan to use the flower shop delivery drivers to get 'wrinklies' to sign up for the gas. Daryl offers the drivers a 'oner' (£100) for their kind cooperation. In Episode 5 the gas scam starts 'going ballistic' and Daryl consults a marketing guru's latest book for hints on how to improve things further. Having been rewarded by Smirnoff with a top of the range Maserati, he hopes that things don't start going 'Pete Tong'. In the final episode, Daryl works out a 'legit' scheme to sell gas to older people, when Smirnoff does a 'Houdini'... |
